Alexander Evans

Research and Program Coordinator, Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies

Alexander Evans is Research and Program Coordinator at the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies within the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). In this role, he manages the financial and operational aspects of the research center, including its grant initiatives, exchange programs, and various publication series. Evans previously served as a Reischauer Policy Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins SAIS, where he provided research support to Dr. Kent Calder for his monograph, Circles of Compensation: Economic Growth and the Globalization of Japan (Stanford University Press, 2017). He holds an MSc in Economic History (Research) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BBA in Economics and International Business from Villanova University.
