China, Vietnam Top Virus Response Survey, But for Different Reasons

Dr. Calder was recently quoted in a Voice of America – VOA article on public perspectives of how different national governments are handling the pandemic.

The article indicates that Vietnamese and Chinese citizens have the highest approval of their governments’ response to COVID-19, according to a poll by Blackbox and Toluna. While other countries scored lower, the article explains that the high approval rating in Vietnam and China are not a result of the same factors but require different explanations.
