Reischauer Center annual conference sponsored by the Center for Global Partnership

On May 8, 2018, the Reischauer Center hosted its annual conference sponsored by the Center for Global Partnership on best practice policy solutions between the United States and Japan.

This year’s event looked at the timely topic of transpacific infrastructure cooperation and featured U.S. government, professional organization, private sector and multilateral representatives. Two Reischauer Center Policy Research Fellows also had the opportunity to participate in a panel and present the findings of research they had done on specific areas of potential cooperation.

Topics discussed included high-speed rail, maritime infrastructure, infrastructure financing, and the overall condition of infrastructure in America.
