Global Political Cities: Actors and Arenas of Influence in International Affairs

Professor Kent Calder’s latest book, “Global Political Cities: Actors and Arenas of Influence in International Affairs,” has just been published by The Brookings Institution Press. The book, based on a study of fifteen major global cities and how they shape international policy agendas, has been a major research effort of the Reischauer Center at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies | SAIS for the past five years, and Professor Calder sincerely thanks the many young Reischauer Center researchers who have contributed so much to this result.

Professor Calder will be leading a webinar discussion of the book in the near future.
