Japan Information & Culture Center, Embassy of Japan Visit

In collaboration with Embassy of Japan in the USA on Thursday, April 14th Dr. William Brook’s Japanese Public Diplomacy class Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies | SAIS had the opportunity to visit the Japan Information & Culture Center, Embassy of Japan. The visit included a presentation conducted by Japanese diplomat Hiroki Tanaka of his experience and job responsibilities.

Students had the opportunity to conduct simulations of press interviews of the Japanese ambassador. Additionally, students viewed the ongoing gallery exhibit, “Exploring Hiroshige & His Influence On Social Media.”
