Kingfisher Global Leadership Program

On Thursday, September 15th, director Dr. Kent Calder, Dr. Kotaro Shiojiri, and the Reischauer Policy Research Fellows met with participants of the Kingfisher Global Leadership Program to discuss leadership, career paths, and answer questions posed by the Kyoto University students.

Dr. Calder started the conversation with an introduction on his international upbringing, career path, and continuing scholarly interests in Japan.

In the second half of the meeting, Dr. Shiojiri, Visiting Scholar and Lecturer at the Reischauer Center, Neave Denny, Manager of Research and Programming at the Reischauer Center, and the Reischauer Policy Research Fellows offered insight on their own burgeoning career paths and engaged in questions with the student participants
