Reischauer Center Selected to Participate in KAKEHASHI Project 2017

The Reischauer Center is honored to have been selected by the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to participate in the KAKEHASHI Project 2017, which will be the third delegation sent by the Reischauer Center. This year’s program will specific focus on Japan’s energy policy and security, and only Johns Hopkins SAIS students enrolled in Dr. Kent Calder’s “Asian Energy Security” course are eligible to apply. Participants will be asked to write articles relating the lessons they learned in Japan to their own area of focus, which will later be published in an edited volume by the Reischauer Center.
